The coordinator gathers basic information about you or your child, determines the right therapist fit, and schedules your initial appointments. **Does Wellspring accept insurance?** Wellspring does not directly accept insurance and is not on any insurance panels. A monthly Superbill is provided so clients can seek out-of-network reimbursement. Contact your insurance company to determine your individual out-of-network benefits. **My child doesn't want to come to therapy. What should I do?** Schedule a parent intake meeting to discuss your concerns with a therapist. The therapist can help develop a plan and coach you on how to explain therapy to your child. If the child continues to refuse, the therapist can still provide parent consultation sessions. **Who should come to the first appointment?** For child clients, parents attend the first intake meeting without the child present. For teen clients, the Intake Coordinator will work with you to determine whether the teen or the parents should attend first. **What can I expect at the first session?** The first session is an intake (60–75 minutes) with the adult, parents, or teen. The therapist will have reviewed your intake forms in advance. Parents typically attend without their child. For teens, the therapist may ask parents to step out for part of the session. It takes several sessions to complete a full assessment, after which the therapist provides a treatment plan. **How long are sessions and how many will I need?** After the intake, standard sessions are 50 minutes. Family or couples sessions may be longer. Sessions typically occur weekly, though frequency may be adjusted based on the therapist's recommendations after the assessment. **Do I have to take my child out of school for appointments?** Generally no. Therapists offer after-school, evening, and weekend appointment times. School-hours slots may be available if needed and can be switched later when another time opens up. ## Key Pages - Services: https://wellspringpsychotherapycenter.com/services/ - What We Treat: https://wellspringpsychotherapycenter.com/what-we-treat/ - Our Therapists: https://wellspringpsychotherapycenter.com/about-us/our-therapists/ - FAQ: https://wellspringpsychotherapycenter.com/resources/faq/ - Billing: https://wellspringpsychotherapycenter.com/about-us/billing/ - Teletherapy: https://wellspringpsychotherapycenter.com/services/teletherapy/ - Make an Appointment: https://wellspringpsychotherapycenter.com/make-an-appointment/ - Contact: https://wellspringpsychotherapycenter.com/contact-and-directions/ - Careers: https://wellspringpsychotherapycenter.com/join-our-team/ - Newsletter: https://wellspringpsychotherapycenter.com/resources/newsletter/
